London Lecture Series - The next Lecture will be on Tuesday 4 November at 7.30pm, on Zoom only. The talk, Exploring Mulanje Mountain - adventures on Malawi's 'island in the sky' will be presented by Elsbeth Robson, a member.

This year is the 50th Anniversary of Boningtons 1975 SW face Everest expedition. Mike Parsons made all the packs, Karrimats and Whillans Box tents and insulated overboots. Cathy at Climbers Shop and Joe Brown, interviewed Mike a little while ago. You can listen on the link.

'Before and After Everest', an exhibition presenting pictures from TH Somervell started in London in August and moved to Grasmere in September until November.
In the 2023 Journal David Seddon wrote an article about Somervell, his favourite mountain artist.
